The blonda lace designs from Barcelona companies from the beginnings 19th to the first quarter of the 20th century
Main Article Content
Abstract
The lace evolution and the importance of native industries in European countries have been widely discussed by historians. But in the Spanish case, there is a significant lack of knowledge about the lace evolution despite the importance of the artisan industries located in Barcelona at 19th century, which developed not only an important economic activity but also an outstanding creative work, especially in the blonde lace for mantillas.
