Domingo Galtés Gabarro and Fortunato Galtés Ribera, Barcelonian silversmiths of the 19th century
Main Article Content
Abstract
This work focuses on the biographical and professional research of Barcelonian silversmiths Domingo Galtés Gabarro and his son Fortunato Galtés Ribera. Some works and his personal mark were already known about the first one, while his second surname and the date of his death had remained ignored until now. Furthermore, a dozen works were added to his catalogue for the first time. Regarding the second one, the son, there was no information published up to now, when we disclose his existence, artistic activity and personal mark.
