New reflections about a tapestry collection that belonged to the Duke of Montpensier

Abstract
The aim of this article is make to know the tapestry collection owned by Mr. Antonio María of Orleans, Montpensier duke (Neuilly-sur-Seine, 31st July 1824 – Sanlúcar de Barrameda, 4th February 1890), known as Galliera collection, due to its origin. The majority of these tapestries are currently at the Spanish Embassy at Rome for the Holy See , these tapestries have remained unpublished until now, when they have been analysed in a deep study.
