Abstract
Thanks to a fortuitous arrival of graphic documentation at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Madrid, it has been possible to reconstruict the trends in the tipe of furniture used in Madrid during the 1930s. This material has permitted the study of the working and registration methods of one of the most famous cabinetmaking workshop of the period, that of Deogracias Magdalena who made household furniture as well as being a decorator and antique dealer.
