The Tiles of the Oratory of the Town Hall of Alicante
Main Article Content
Abstract
he valencian tiles that were displayed in the Alicante´s town hall chapel, around 1760, are nowadays still located at the same position. To demonstrate their authorship it is key the finding of a legal document that Manuel Ferrán was forced to sing in order to receive the payment for his work. This source allows to identity not only the authorship but also other important elements such as design patterns.
