Abstract
The epistolary documentation generated by the orders to the Valencian tile factory directed by Marcos Antonio Disdier, is a highly valued documentary material that offers interesting perspectives of analysis of the ceramic work of the late 18th century in València. This time the sender sometimes and sometimes the recipient, is a character such as the Duchess of Osuna, María Josefa Alonso de Pimentel, considered a great patron of art in illustrated Spain, which gives even greater value to the writings. The study of the tiles manufactured for the El Capricho palace will provide some fundamental information to complete the history of the tiles from the Disdier manufacture.
